Entering the country and visas

Generally a valid travel document recognized by Switzerland is sufficient to enter the country. Only citizens of certain countries require an entry visa for stays of up to three months. A visa is generally required for longer stays. The Federal Office for Migration publishes the latest requirements on its homepage.
