The range of services offered by the Ecademy network to SMEs and the public sector comprises know-how transfer, advice, qualifications, initial and further training, information and communication, conference organisation, administrative support and help with contacting authorities. Amongst other things, a Masters-level course for executives in “e-business/e-government” has been available since March 2004. Ecademy is a network of excellence sponsored by Osec and Softnet that is geared towards promoting and developing Switzerland as a knowledge society, combining education, research and practical applications in a sustainable way. It provides services to SMEs, the public sector, and member institutions.

It is also possible to present your own project on the CIO website. According to CIO, the site is visited by thousands of software providers. In addition, CIO.de offers a wealth of IT white papers.

The non-profit consortium OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) offers a variety of standards that can be integrated into e-shop sites. OASIS has more than 5,000 participants representing over 600 organisations and individual members in 100 countries.
